Paris, je t'aime

After only being in Prague for less than 24 hours, we headed to Paris. It started out a little rough because we were all so tired, and our hostel wasn't the best, but we set out to sight see, and I completely fell in love with this city. Here are our adventures in photos.

Thursday- After arriving we headed to Sacre Couer, had lunch at a delicious French cafe, walked along the Seine River, climbed the towers at Notre Dame, and headed to bed early because we were exhausted.

Climbing Montmarte and seeing Sacre Couer.

Invaders, they are all over the city.

Notre dame, we didn't see the Hunchback!

The Art Nouveau metro stations that I am obsessed with.

Friday- We spent the entire day at Versailles, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous so we took a nap by Marie Antoinette's private estate. It was definitely one of my favorite things we did in Paris.

Hall of Mirrors, the hall that connected Louis XIV's bed chambers to his offices.

The beautiful and huge garden.

Saturday- We ate breakfast at the cafe we all fell in love with, found an amazing flea market near Montmarte, went to an art exhibit at the Pompidou, and to the Musee Picasso.

That's a BOWL of hot chocolate, at the best French cafe we went to.

Owl trivet I found at a flea market, I wanted it so bad...

Sunday- We awoke early to head to the Louvre, it was ridiculously crowded, but so amazing. We also visited the Arc de Triomphe, and couldn't believe that we were actually there sitting on something so historic. And then to cap the evening off we shared a bottle of champagne on the grass of the Eiffel Tower, and saw it sparkle at dusk.

Monday- This was a very relaxed day, me and Caitie shopped and just enjoyed the beautiful Paris weather. We also had a glass of wine at the cafe that is in the movie Amelie, it was pretty crazy. Then we went to the Andrew Bird concert, and it was completely amazing. I have a newfound love for him and his violin.

Tuesday- Completely exhausted after our traveling, we headed back to Praha, and were so glad to get there.

Up next: My 5 days in Copenhagen!
